Electro-Acupuncture
Electro-Acupuncture - Chinese DrawingElectro-acupuncture was first used in China in the 1930's and is now widely employed as an important technique to relieve all kinds of pain. After a needle has been inserted at the acupuncture point, an electric current is passed through the needle to strengthen and alter the nature of the stimulation.

Point selection for electro-acupuncture is identical to regular acupuncture and the technique is generally indicated for treating the same disorders. However, because of its stronger stimulation, it is seldom used when only mild stimulation is required.

Electro-acupuncture is especially recommended for Neuralgia and Nervous Paralysis.
